Racing Summary
The morning started off hot and humid. Trainers and Jockeys were spread everywhere making sure their horses were ready for the day's race. The Belmont would start right after the smaller Racing Club races had come to their finish.
Many trainers were unhappy with their opening starting positions, but all delt with them well, and tried to make the best of the situation.
At starting time, the sun was directly overhead, as it was about 1:36pm. The hores entered the gates, and some problems arose while loading both NorthStar Forty Carat, trained my SueC, and Najran, trained by blkgold, but now reowned. The horses earlier loaded were becoming restless, and NorthStar Cybelle tried raring. AA Sly Flyer and Deo Volente weren't happy in the heat, but were behaving themselves. Finally, after Forty Carat was in, the gates opened, and the horses ran.
WT Frequency stumbled coming out of the gates, putting her next to last. When she regained her footing, her jockey looked up realizing they were blocked in on all sides.
NorthStar T-Bird and CH One Night Stand were neck in neck, not letting either give an inch. Coming up on the 5 furlong mark, T-Bird gradually starting pulling ahead. Night's jockey started him too fast, and by the mile marker was having problems keeping the same speed.
Coming around the last turn, Deo Volente and Holy Charmer were far in the lead, by 4 1/2 lengths. Cybelle was trailing the end with a 14 length distance. Deo Volente dug in, and slowly pulled ahead of Charmer, and slipped under the wire 1/4 length ahead of Charmer.
During the race, a report came to the track officials about possible drugging of Holy Charmer, owned by blkgold. Immediate action was taken, and MegaQuines was called.
Kaitlyn pulled her truck over to the backside, and discussed the issue with track officials. A saliva, blood, and skin test were taken. Within 15 minutes, we realized that a direct stimulant had been given to Charmer probably the night before. He was disqualified from the race, and her other horses were checked. All of those came clean, and were allowed to keep their positions in the Belmont.

Please realize that the drugging of Charmer was because results were already done when blkgold pulled Charmer out of HF. We simply added on the drugging so that we could keep the results the same.
